Well, I took it again. And as ever, it has me pegged.

By the way, folks, I am not creating anything on any level of my life. I can't even write checks right now. (that was a joke) Mostly, I am just trying to get through the next few minutes without screwing up myself or anyone else.

9 weeks no smokes - I know, huh? It hasn't been hard, but it has to get better than it is right now.

Spring...come bring those rains that cause everything to grow and turn green...rain on my heart and wash away all of the grey and yucky of the past year. I want to be clean.

I guess that is it in a nutshell. I want to be clean.

9 weeks no smokes - yes! Yes! YES!

Clean. Yeah. Clean. Like how fresh it feels stepping out of the shower and drying off with a big ol' fluffy clean-smelling soft towel. Sounds nice. Clean.

well, your lungs should be pretty clean at this point. the rest shouldn't be too far behind, right?

Terri,

I remember that point. You're clean, but you just need one little distraction to pull you back. Be strong an beat this thing once and for all! I was exactly at your point when I gave it all up!

You know that, it was almost 2 years ago when we met! You want the smobriety, you know it! Take it, embrace it, celebrate it as a new life!

Know that I am behind you all the way, and I will see you on the other side!

I'm jealous. I had stopped for a spell, but then came the past few weeks with the added bullshit and now I am back at 1/2 pack a day.
God! I hate the smell of it.

Apparently not enough :(

I seem to be blessed with the unique ability to never become addicted to anything.

Of course, this comes with the desire to not do most things that would become addictive (chemically, I suppose).

I've never really tested that theory. But to do so would be expensive, I'm sure.

Anyhow, this leaves me with a great amount of time for friends who need to lean somewhere.

You know where I am if you ever need to do such a thing. :) Well, not physically, of course. We'll call it "e-leaning".

:)

Hiya Jim! You must have some fancy celebrating under your belt by now, too!! Congratulations!

Mrs.Biped - ha...I like that theory alot. Nice to see you, btw!

Jeff, it is truly crazy remembering all of the MAYniacs pecking away at our keyboards trying to stay clean...and now look! Many of us are celebrating two years already...crazy!

Junque: Lol! I understand hating the smell and still smoking. Now I really like the smell of fresh smoke - it's the smoke on peoples hands and clothes that smells awful.

Jorge, I can't think of anyone else that I would enjoy e-leaning with more. :) Give the Beautiful Mrs. J and Baby J a kiss for me.

Oh Haiiiii!!

I was so afraid that my blog had disappeared- I mean, I haven't actually logged in for a couple of years, but still, shouldn't it be...
